Weird noise on RTL SDR V4

I bought my first SDR (RTL SDR V4) in October 25

Since then i am getting these weird lines on the waterfall,they are strong on HF and VHF frequencies and less prominent on UHF frequencies but they desensitize the receiver and increase noise floor , they don’t even let me decode meteor sats

Did anybody have the same problem and how did they tackle it please tell me

This looks like noise from nearby electronics. The most likely culprit are computer/TV screens, nearby solar panel installations, or poor quality power supplies.

One suggestion that can help a little is to turn OFF RTL and Tuner AGC, and instead use manual gain settings only.

Do you have any PLC adapter ( Network over Power ) ?

If you have … it can be these devices ! Remove them all and check again !

Turns out it was a wifi router but the usb noise still persists how do i get rid of that I have a 5 meter usb cable but no matter how far I stretch it from the laptop the noise remains
