Actual number and width of samples is?

If i set a frequency in SDR# and want to “hear” a 2khz bandwidth and have the width of the waterfall at 20khz does the V4 scan a full 2mhz wide signal and SDR# only shows a tiny bit? How many frequency points does it sample and can you have it only look at a 20khz wide section? at 14mhz what is the max frequency resolution? Thanks again for such a sensitive and awesome SDR.

I think I already replied to your email, but to explain for all:

The RTL-SDR samples at the sample rate you set it to, which is normally 2.4 MSPS. For the RTL-SDR this means you can get a full 2.4 MHz live bandwidth at once.

Then in SDR#, the tuning bar helps select the signal of interest for demodulation, which will likely be much smaller than 2.4 MHz. The signal in the tuning bar is decimated and filtered so that ONLY that particular signal is received. This decimation and filtering is done entirely in software.
